Ogando retires nine, leaves with injury

AL West leading Texas Rangers are having to deal with even more injuries after Alexi Ogando, who was filling in for the injured Derek Holland (who was placed on the DL Thursday) pulled a groin running out a bunt play in the 4th inning.  Ogando, who faced nine batters and retired them all, was replaced by three releivers.

“Right now it feels pretty bad,” Ogando, who is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, told reporters. “I feel bad because of the situation we’re in, but that’s something that happens in baseball.”

The Rangers will take their game on the road to face the Arizona Diamondbacks during the week and the Houston Astros over the weekend with RHP Colby Lewis, LHP Matt Harrison and Yu Darvish scheduled to take the mound.
