Rangers drop entire series to Angels

Texas fans were not happy this weekend as the Los Angeles Angels came into Globe Life Park and commenced to thumping them for three straight games to the tune of 33-8.

“I guess you could chalk this up to having good days and bad days,” Rangers SP Colby Lewis said. “You hope to have more better ones than bad ones. They were aggressive early in the count and swung the bat well. I can’t elaborate any more on what was working and what wasn’t.”

The Angels have been coming into their own for a spell and seem to have put a lot of pieces together this last month.

“We really broke out this series, no doubt,” Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. “I think what I’m going to carry away from this series is really how well we pitched against a team that can really swing it. I thought we pitched really well this series and gave us a chance, and our offense blossomed.”

The Rangers will have a day of rest before hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three game home stand.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and help cheer on your Texas Rangers~!
