It wasn’t pretty, but the Texas Rangers wrested away a win from the Boston Red Sox last night in a 2-1 game where pitcher Phil Klein earned his first Major League win as a starter. The game was capped off with a Robinson Chirinos solo home run at Fenway Park. Meanwhile, reliever Shawn Tolleson picked up his first Major League Save. Tolleson worked around a one-out double.
“That was a great game. … A fun one to win,” Tolleson said.
